I love coffee and will accept it as a tip. Not kidding, bring some and see.
I wish I had more time to read because I really do enjoy it. Actual books too, the kind you hold and turn paper pages with. I'm old school like that.
I wasn't born in Texas but got here as soon as I could! ~haha~ I have been here more than half my life and my husband and my kids were born here so I claim Texan status.
I love to laugh and have been told I have a good sense of humor. Well, I have told myself that anyway, not sure if that counts!
I prefer beaches over snowy places, but if I get to take a vacation I won't be picky because I am getting a vacation.
I don't keep up with celebrity gossip. I do like movies and watch too much tv. I like to cook and am ok at it. I don't like shopping much.
I love dogs and cats and have one of each. Pets are always welcome to join in sessions or be the focus of the session.
I married my high school sweetie. We have been married 10 years and have two boys, ages 6 and 4. Some people may not take this into account when hiring a photographer, but I would like to point out that life experience can make a difference. I can relate to my clients and family dynamics - family members that don't like their picture taken and kids who have missed a nap. I get it. It happens. I promise I have been there too. Not much your family says or does will surprise me.
I love music almost as much as coffee. I like my music loud and with variety.
I cry easily. I am loyal. I always assume the good in people. I believe in doing the right thing and being generous because it will come back to you. I consider myself to be open minded.
I won't look like this on your session day. I will have my hair up and out of the way. Gotta have comfy clothes that are ready to get dirty, allow me to climb or crawl, and hopefully match. Makeup is bad for my camera screen so that will be minimal, usually is anyway. I use Canon equipment and love my Mac.
I hope to have a relationship with all the families I photograph - I truly want to be their family photographer for the long term.
